Calathea Triostar - 85cm
What makes this Calathea so special is that it has a day and night rhythm whereby the leaves close when it gets dark and open again at dawn. The Calathea comes from the jungles of the Amazon region in South America. This popular houseplant comes in different shapes and sizes. Take a good look at the leaves that have waves, ridges, round, pointed or oval shapes and show the most beautiful patterns. But the Calathea has another special feature: it follows the rhythm of nature. As soon as the morning light hits the room, the beautiful leaves spread out to catch the light and close again in the evening. Sssst…can you hear the rustling?
The Calathea likes a lot of light but not the bright sun. He finds the ideal temperature between 15 and 23 degrees and he likes to be kept moist.
