About the Young Plant Soil Mix for Anthurium & Orchids: This special mix has been developed to meet the needs of young Anthurium and Orchid plants. The mix contains a high content of bark, which creates sufficient air chambers for the fine roots of the young plants to grow through. This promotes healthy growth and development. In addition, the addition of Coco Coir, Perlite, Zeolite, Activated Charcoal and Worm Fertilizer ensures that the mix remains light and well drained, which is essential for young plants.

What young Anthurium and Orchids want from their soil: Young plants need well-drained soil that retains sufficient air and moisture. This mix provides the ideal environment for the roots to grow and absorb nutrients. It allows the plants to develop and thrive during their first growth phase.

As with all our Premium mixes, this soil mix contains a population of positive bacteria, mycelium and microfauna that contribute to healthy plant growth. In addition, each bag contains enough nutrients for the first 2 months of growth, along with our specialized nutrient storage component, Zeolite.
