Super cool Mix for Cacti & Succulents!

Our mix is ​​perfect for your sturdy cacti and succulents! We made a blend of Coco Coir, Horticultural Sand, Grit, Pumice, Zeolite, Worm Castings and Activated Charcoal. This creates a fast-draining mix that does not remain damp for long.

The mix contains many non-porous materials, such as sand and grit, so most of the water flows directly down through the pot through the holes at the bottom. However, our Coco Coir, Pumice and Zeolite retain just enough water for the plant to absorb during the short time the mix remains moist.

What do Cacti and Succulents want from their soil? These plants generally want one thing - for the soil to be completely dry for most of the time. But when it comes to watering, we recommend soaking them thoroughly. In the wild, these plants are accustomed to heavy rain showers followed by quickly drying land after a few days. We formulated this mix to mimic this wet-dry cycle. In general, we recommend watering only every 2/3 weeks during the summer months. In spring and autumn about once a month, and in winter not at all.
